Mom

A little girl was five years old when her mother left her with her grandmother.  The girl did not know what was going on around her.  Her mother just told her that one Saturday she was to come back and bring her a doll.  Because she was little, she believed what her mother said.  Every Saturday she stood next to a tree waiting for the bus to appear.  One day her mother sent her a doll and a letter saying that she will be with her someday and with her brother and sisters.  While she was growing up without her mother her older sister took care of her and her brother and her other sister.  When she was about ten years old she could not remember her mother.  She looked the pictures that she had sent her to see her.  She was a happy person and enjoyed everything that she had.  When the girl became a teenager the classmates always mocked at her just because she did not have her mother.  She didn’t pay attention to what they said.  But one day she got tired of hearing people trying to make her feel bad, and they said she always would be a person without mother and father.  She was very depressed and stopped going to school.  She locked the door and did not eat well for weeks.   The older sister took her to the doctor because she looked pale.  The doctor told her sister that she had anemia and the illness was advanced.  The teenager had to stay in the hospital for days, so the doctors tried to help her.  The following weeks she started to look better and better.  Finally, after few months she came back to the school.  She did not talk and isolated herself of all of her classmates. 

This girl whose name was Noeli was fourteen years now.  She still believed that her mother a day would come for her.  It did not happen.  Noeli was with her sister only because her older sister and brother moved with her mother.  The two of the girls now were by themselves with her grandparents at the village.  Now they took care of each other.  .  They left their grandparents and then lived with their aunt.  They went to the city to keep with their studies.   The girls studied for one round year in the city.  During one night Noeli called her mother and sister saying that she wanted to go with them.  Noeli’s mother and sister were so happy that she had decided that she wanted to be with them.  Her mother lived in other country, but it was not a problem for her.  Noeli and her sister were moving to a different country to meet their mother and sister.  They were so happy to see their family again.  They were onboard of the airplane ready to get where their mother was.  The airplane landed on the airport, and their mother and sister were waiting for them in the door.  The little girl was fifteen years old and her sister was seventeen years old and they meet ten years later at the airport.
